At work, where I work, we have three graphic designers. And each graphic designer has a rack that’s kind of an inbox that’s a rack instead of a box. It makes sense if you see it. And for each of these racks there is sort of this tradition that we’re starting right now to label them with an illustrated name tag. And it’s a tag in that it has my name on it and it labels something, but really it’s a 9″ by 9″ piece of cover stock with my drawing on it!
And since today I’m working on a bunch of stuff you won’t likely see until the weekend at the earliest, I thought I’d share my name tag! Because I’m proud of it.
I really like the idea of more things in life being appropriately illustrated. I mean, for one thing, it’s job security.
