Here is my latest example of my Illustrations by Request! Now, the client, my dad, did order just a half hour’s worth of work, which is a $30 drawing, plus shippping ($40 total). And I did spend a bit more time on it than that. See, the stippling brought it over. I felt I had to put it in there in order to finish the piece properly.
But it still provides a good metric! This is actually a $90 drawing. I spent an hour and a half on it, which is typical of a 5″ by 5″ piece with this much stippling on it. So, if you’re thinking of getting a $30 drawing, the image below might be more in line with what we can do, inked or penciled:

Of course, I’m happy to draw all sorts of other things besides your face, and in other styles. But, a nice drawing can sometimes be a great profile pic, which is what this was meant for.
