The next page of the Epic of Sally is all penciled. However, my arm is really screwed up. It took me about eight hours to do a half-assed job of penciling. 25 minutes of resting and stretching for every 5 minutes of drawing. Not a good thing.
I am going to continue working on the page, that slowly, until it is done. However, I am going to go to bed on time, and I am going to stop cartooning for the night right now. So… We probably won’t see a finished comic page until the end of the day tomorrow, or sometime Wednesday.
Somewhere in there, I have to work on some sell-able work and a commission, too. Which will probably happen on Thursday and Friday, but there we go.
Thanks for your patience! If I push it right now, I’ll have to take a much longer break later. Better to take it slow and heal.
What happened was that I got sloppy. Most of the things I was taught to do to keep things well oiled and happy I let slide. So, I’m going through the list and working on it all again. I should be in good working order in a week or two.
